2026 Summer Course Information

Enrollment and course selection begins February 2, 2026.

Legacy Virtual High School offers summer semester courses for students seeking to supplement their academic program with additional learning opportunities. These flexible, fee-based courses allow students to earn original or advanced credit, explore Advanced Placement (AP), and access subjects that may not be available at their home campus or through a homeschool program. Each summer course is developed and taught by certified Katy ISD educators who provide rigorous instruction and ongoing support in a virtual environment. Summer enrollment empowers students across Texas to expand their learning, accelerate progress toward graduation, and experience the excellence of a Katy ISD education from anywhere.

Rising 9th grade Katy ISD students are limited for Summer 2026 to Health, Professional Communications, Lifetime Fitness, World Geography, World Geography KAP/GT, World History, and World History KAP/GT.
Dual Credit courses are not currently being offered but are coming soon. Stay tuned!
Courses may be taken once for original credit.
Katy ISD students are required to take Social Studies Research Methods KAP as the prerequisite to AP Psychology.
